MGCC will host again the 2nd edition of the charity golf tournament in support of the Marbella non-profit Avance Positivo on September 7th, 2024. The objectives of this non-profit organization are to improve the quality of life for people with viral diseases (especially HIV and other STDs) and decrease transmission. This is carried out through education, early diagnostic / detection tests, psychological support, support in the interaction with hospital/physicians and specific support to people with risk of social exclusion. Avance Positivo is supported by Marbella, Estepona and Casares city councils and work very closely with the Hospital Costa del Sol. The activity is increasing steadily and the funds that were managed to collect in last year’s golf tournament have been well employed in support of all the users. But as for all non-profits, resources remain limited, so tournaments such as the one in September are vital to continue to fulfil the objectives. You can now start signing up to the tournament held on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, and you also have the option of assisting to the lunch only.
