Great atmosphere and promising young players in the first tournament of the Marbella International Cup.
Saturday the 3rd June 2017 Marbella Golf Country Club hosted the first tournament of the first edition of the Marbella International Cup 2017. This edition saw the participation of promising young players of both national and international golf, which raised the competitiveness and the distinction of the circuit. The weather could not have been any better to accompany the day, making the tournament a delicious experience for enjoying and fighting for the trophies and the end of season rankings.
Yudin Alexander, who was the winner of the first category with 39 points, showed his satisfaction after defeating Clive Tyler, who finished the match with 35 points, followed very closely on the list by Francisco Javier Martin Ramirez with 34 points.
In the second category, the winners were Catherine Shiels, with 37 points, whilst Enrique Mediato Diaz followed her in second place, despite achieving the same points as the champion. Marcelo Scenna Perez occupied the third place and completed the podium of the first tournament of this Championship on the Costa del Sol.
At the end of the match day all of the participants enjoyed raffles and prizes from the sponsors that collaborated with this project, at the 19th hole on Marbella Golf CC’s terrace.
