The Andalucian Senior Circuit has had its last match this weekend before the summer holiday. The League will start again in September 2016. This weekend the course played was the 18 holes of Marbella Golf Country Club, that opened up their doors to more than 120 participants competing in Individual Stableford format.
The player of Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, George Trowbridge, was the winner of the men’s first category with 34 points. The second and third places were for Osamah El-Rubaidi with also 34 points and for the player of Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, José Duarte, with 33 points.
In the men’s second category José Lázaro López took the victory with 38 points. The second was, with 35 point, Carlos Ramón de la Fata, from La Siesta Golf Club. The third place was for J. Francisco Quirado, also with 35 points.
In the men’s third category the podium was for Domingo Martín (Real Club de Campo de Malaga), José Antonio Rivera (Los Moriscos Club de Golf) and Zsolt Stanik (Lauro Golf) with 33, 31 and 31 points.
As to the ladies, Antonia Silva won the 1st category with 39 points. In second and third places were Mª Pilar Van Dulken and Rosario Fernández, with 31 and 27 points.
In the ladies’ second category Mª Remedios Muñoz took the victory with 39 points, 8 points more than Luz Mª Robledo and 9 more than Rocío Hernández.
