The members of Marbella Golf CC raised 620 euros for Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice in the Members Memorial Trophy played on the 15th February 2019 in Individual Stableford format. Carl Horne won the trophy with 38 points on count back against Norman Cameron and Liz Britton came in 3rd place with 33 points. Nearest to pin winners were Catherine Shiels on hole 3 and Mike Munden on hole 11. Congratulations to all the winners!
We had the pleasure to present the funds raised to Esther Ráez Martínez from Cudeca on Thursday the 7th March 2019. These funds will help Cudeca to continue Giving Life to Days to those who need it most. From the Hospice Centre, Cudeca cares for over 1.300 people each year suffering from cancer and other advanced and non-curable illnesses. Cudeca Hospice offers support to the patient and to his family thanks to their professional team of doctors, physicians, psychologists, nurses and volunteers. All the support provided is completely free of charge and is possible in part thanks to donations like this.
We look forward to holding another charity event in aid of Cudeca next year and seeing a good crowd participating again!
