Coffee and bacon rolls were served to the almost 60 players before they set off on our annual Elvis Day Trophy on Friday the 19th August 2016 at the beautiful Marbella Golf Country Club.
The tournament was played with a shot gun start at 09:30 and format Texas Scramble. After the golf, a Fabulous Mexican style lunch was served with music from “Stelvis”, a regular performer at the club.
The winning team was Paul and Freddie Dunford, Jason Stuart and Lee Twyman with a score of 54,49.
The runners up were Ben Nelmes with his guests Gary Hannam, Chris Strang and Tom, who came second with a score of 58,78.
The third team was Tim Robertson, Frank Crawley, Adam Ramsay and their guest Charlie, with a score of 60,1.
The prizes for nearest to pin went for Chris Strang and Anita Cullen.
We look forward to seeing all the participants again next year!
