This week saw our hard-fought Annual Club Championship take place over two days on Monday the 11th and Wednesday the 13th September 2017. The tournament is played in medal play format and is open only for our club members. The first day they were grouped in handicap flights and by score for the second day of golf.
Charlie Smith was proclaimed Champion with the lowest total gross score of 159. The net winner this year was a hard battle as the first two had the same score. Tim Slate was the net winner with 144 points and Steve Boyd came second also with 144 points. Glen Lindsay came third with 146 points winning the count back against Clive Tyler. The ladies’ net winner was for second consecutive year Anita Cullen with 147 points.
