This week saw our hard-fought Annual Club Championship take place over two days on Monday the 19th and Wednesday the 21st September 2016.
The tournament is played in medal play format and is open only for our club members. The first day they were grouped in handicap flights and by score for the second day of golf.
Luis García Bermejo was proclaimed Champion with the lowest total gross score of 153 (78 & 75), as he played well both days. The net winner this year was a hard battle as the first three had the same score. John Bryan was the winner with 148 points ( 78 & 70), Alex Craig came second also with 148 points (76 & 72) and the third was Ben Nelmes with 148 points too (69 & 79). The ladies’ net winner was Anita Cullen with 145 points (77 & 68).
