On Friday, April 11th, we hosted the 2025 Bob Naify Trophy at the Marbella Golf Country Club. All the participants had a wonderful time and were given a golf course in great condition, a buffet breakfast on the terrace to start the day, an excellent lunch and superb entertainment by DJ Dave James.
Edna Graneli won the Trophy Cup after a very tight countdown on the back 9 holes & last 6 holes with Stephen Cullen. Our most sincere congratulations to her!
The winners of the prizes, after some very good and tight results, were:
Men’s category:
- 1st Stephen Cullen with 38 points
- 2nd Roger Kemp with 37 points, and 17 on the back 9 holes
- 3rd Joseph Horvath also with 37 points, but 16 on the back 9 holes.
Ladies’ category:
- 1st Edna Graneli with 38 points – Trophy Cup winner
- 2nd Anita Cullen with 33 points, and with 17 points on the back 9 holes
- 3rd Sheelagh Maloney with 33 points, but with 15 on the back 9 holes.
Melanie Scholz and Stephen Gilks won the Nearest to Pin prizes. Ladies’ nearest to pin prize was played on hole 11 and the men’s on hole 16.
