Our Christmas “Turkey Trot” competition was held on Friday the 13th December 2024 with 48 members participating in this Texas Scramble event. Typical Spanish delicatessen was awarded as prizes to the top three teams after a fun lunch.
The winners were:
1st place: Steve Cullen, Anita Cullen, Sean Cullen & Leonard Peifer playing with 7.8 shots and finishing with a score of 56.2 points.
2nd place: David Jenkins, Joanne Jenkins, Paul Weightman & Stephen Gilks with 58.9 points.
3rd place: Edna Graneli, Dulcinea Antonsson, John Anderson & Tomas Hjelte with 59.3 points.
The prize for Nearest to pin in 2 shots on hole 8 was won by Joseph Horvath.
