Our annual President’s Cup tournament was held on Friday April 19th 2024, where 43 members and guests competed for the trophy. Our Club President, Mr. Steve Cullen, oversaw the awards ceremony and welcomed everyone to a lovely luncheon on our fabulous terrace overlooking the sea with Ben Nelmes in charge of the live entertainment.
This year’s winners were:
Category A, hcp 0-21,9:
1st prize and trophy cup winner: Tomas Hjelte with 40 points
2nd prize: Yves Kirpach with 35 points
3rd prize: Paul Judson with 34 points
Category B, hcp 22,0 and above:
1st prize: Julie Owen with 35 points
2nd prize: Edna Graneli with 33 points
3rd prize: Graham Evans with 31 points and with 18 points on the back 9 holes.
The best guest result went to Grant Comley with 31 points. The men’s nearest to pin prize on hole 9 was won by Graham Evans and Ladies‘ nearest to pin on hole 11 by Edna Graneli.
