Our annual President’s Cup was held on Friday, May 6th, where 50 members and guests competed for the trophy.
Despite the forecast, it finally did not rain at all and all participants could enjoy the fun tournament.
Our President, John McNamara, oversaw the awards ceremony and welcomed everyone to lunch with entertainment on performed by Johnny Westwood, a well-known country singer on the Costa del Sol. The party went on until late.

2nd prize: Graham Hughes
3rd prize: Charlie Smith
Guest 1st prize: John Buckley
Men’s nearest to pin: Mike Munden
Nearest to pin in 2: Steve Cullen
Ladies‘ nearest to pin: None of the ladies reached the green and therefore a quiz was done to all the lady participants to guess the total length of our golf course from the red tees in meters. Anita Cullen got the closest to the figure.
Worst score: Liam Gibson
