The Great Final of Lady Golf Tour 2014 was held in Marbella Golf Country Club and in Hotel Los Monteros Spa & Golf Resort, and it was a sensational culmination for a season full of interest, spectacle and good game. This was a perfect cocktail which took place with huge intensity during 2 days of game in Malaga, an unforgettable experience for all the participants.
That general opinion turned the Lady Golf Tour into the women’s golf event par excellence. This is the ninth edition of this tour and it has accomplished the aim to offer a series of competitions at the highest level for the Spanish Federated Ladies.
This time, the best two golfers of each previous competition and 2 winners of the 2013 edition, had the honour to be present in Marbella Golf Country Club and in Hotel Los Monteros Spa & Golf Resort. The previous competitions in 2014 had been celebrated on following golf courses: CG Escorpion (Valencia), CG Larrabea (Álava), Balneario de Mondariz (Pontevedra), Wegolf-La Almarza (Ávila), La Cala (Malaga), Panoramica (Castellon) and CG Zaudin (Sevilla). All of them great and recognised golf courses in Spain.
We would like to highlight the high level of game and the competitiveness of the participants during this Great Final of the Lady Golf Tour 2014. It is also a must to mention the unforgettable evening events where the ladies were accompanied by their friends and family.
And as if that weren’t enough, in the final gala dinner, where Manuel Ortega in representation of Junta de Andalucia gave the award to Cristina Marques for a hole in 1 in hole number 3, it was announced that the Slovakian Mercedes Lady Golf Tour invites the winners of the Lady Golf Tour 2014 to participate in their competition in 2015.
