TOP OF THE MORNING!
Coffee and bacon rolls were served to 80 hardy golfers all sporting something green before they set off on the annual St. Patrick’s Day Tournament at the beautiful Marbella Golf Country Club on Sunday, all in good spirits.
After a wet start and rain on and off throughout the game, they all finally emerged onto the Terrace to enjoy free Guinness and a fabulous barbecue followed by dancing to the great band Monkey Tennis.
Raffle prizes were plenty and good and wannabe golfers enjoyed a chipping contest on the 18th green!!
The event was hosted by Golf the Costa and Marbella Golf and our thanks go to Annalisa and Mark of GTC for organizing a great day. Thanks to the sponsors, Bono’s Beach, Da Bruno’s, Bang & Olufson, Black Tower FM, Safe Motor, Gomez & Molina and Kriskon
First prize went to Stuart Patterson, Jack Smith, Hugh Craig and George Twyman with John McNamara’s team coming in at a very close second.
