Rod Bastard triumphed at the latest event in the Gecko Winter Pro Tour held at Marbella Golf & Country Club during days March, 13th & 14th.
Rounds of 71 and 72 gave the 40-year old a one-under par total and a two-shot victory over Gabriel Cañizares in the 36-hole event. Rod, who has played on the European Challenge Tour as well as the Spanish and French mini-tours, said it was «an honour» to have won an event on the new Gecko circuit.
