On Sunday November 9th 2014 the Andalucian Rescue Center for Horses, Donkeys and Mules (ARCH) held their annual charity golf competition followed by Sunday Lunch and an awards presentation. The competition was played as a 4 ball Texas Scramble with 9 teams participating and 50 persons assisted the lunch in the dining room.
1st place went to the team of Stuart Paterson (Club Captain) who played with his wife Val and friends Alex Craig and Ed Dzien. 2nd place went to the team of Ian Jarvis, Hugh Craig, Barry Elias and Graham Hughes. 3rd place went to the team of Kjell Finnestad, his wife Wenche and their friends Anne and Terje Ruud.
It was a great day for everyone and ARCH thanks all who participated in the tournament and in helping to raise funds for this worthy cause including GECKO Pro Tour, Claren Lynch – a great photographer of Blueberry Marbella Golf Magazine –, the donations of vouchers from local businesses and the members who were unable to attend but donated funds.
