I never realized that there were so many Elvis fans amongst us, but Friday August 16 at the Marbella Golf Country Club hosted by Golf The Costa, showed me just how loyal these fans are!!
The event started with a round of golf, Texas Scramble; with over 60 players followed by a Hawaiian style Hog Roast followed by the man himself “Stelvis” who thoroughly entertained us with his great tribute to the King.
Dressed in a fabulous Elvis style outfit, he belted out all the originals. If you closed your eyes you could have believed Elvis was actually in the building. Karaoke followed and the star of the show was Mark Bruce of Golf the Costa dressed in an amazing rhinestone encrusted white suit complete with cape. He truly looked the part. 100 diners gathered for the Barbecue, dancing and singing, a fabulous night.
This was the first “Elvis” celebration but I think we all agree that there will be more.
